Difficulty: Easy Things You'll Need AOL Account Address book data saved as a comma-separated value (.CSV) or tab-delimited file Computer with Internet access Instructions Sign in to AOL mail using your log in credentials. Select the "Addresses" button when the screen loads to access the email address import feature. Select the "Import" button which opens the "Import Contacts" window that will allow you to upload your .CSV or tab-delimited file.
