What do you do when employer asks you very personal questions about a person in the office they feel you are having a relationship with say you are under investigation and may be ultimately be fired?

Generally, if you live in a democracy, you have the right not to answer questions put to you. This prevents questioners embarking on "fishing expeditions" just to see if they have grounds to penalise another worker. An employer has to show a reasonable cause for terminating someone, if he has no evidence, there is no case. Good luck!
