While you can certainly receive email via a third-party server, you will have to tweak your SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) to appease your ISP. After tweaking your settings, your ISP may still have a limit on the amount of email recipients you can send to at one time. Be sure to check with your ISP to verify the limits.
