These messages may be as simple as attempts to obtain email passwords or elaborate financial fraud attempts. Although it is impossible for large email providers such as Yahoo! to investigate online scam attempts, these messages may be marked as spam to ensure that they are not delivered to others' inboxes. Mark a scam message as spam to improve the spam detection ability of Yahoo! Mail and help prevent the scam from succeeding.
