  Restringing depends on the model. But generally: 1. cut off the old string (replace one string at a time) & remove both ends of it. 2. Select the proper gauge (thickness) string. A good starting guide is. (1 Hi E) .010 - (2 B) .013 - (3 G) .017 - (4 D) .024 - (5 A) .034 - (6 Lo E) 046 3. Thread the ball end of the string through the bridge (body-end) the same way the other strings are threaded (on many guitars the string goes in through the back of the body). 4. Wind the string around the tuning post 1 or 2 times (make sure to wind it in the correct direction so that when you turn the tuner to the right - the string gets tight) 5. THE TRICKY PART - don't tie a knot, just push the end through the hole on the post and pull the other side backwards around the post and under the string.
