Deforestation is when forests are being cut down or burned. Lots of animals use trees as a habitat and when their homes are being cut down or burned, they don't know where to live. Eventually they die because of starvation or predators. They can also die becuase of bad weather, since they don't have shelter, they will not be protected by harsh weather.
