  AT&T email is available when you sign up for their Internet service. This email address is used as your login to your AT&T online account. As part of the benefits of using AT&T's Internet service, all customers can have up to ten additional email accounts. AT&T provides webmail services using Yahoo! but email software allows you to access your email from your desktop. In Windows XP and previous versions, Microsoft provides the free email software Outlook Express. Difficulty: Easy Instructions Open Outlook Express. Select "Tools" from the top menu. Choose "Accounts" from the list of options. Select the "Mail" tab. Click the "Add" button. Choose "Mail" from the list of options. Type your name. Click the "Next" button. Type your email address. Click the "Next" button. Select "POP3" from the drop-down box. Type "pop.att.yahoo.com" into the incoming mail field. Type "smtp.att.yahoo.com" into the outgoing mail field. Click "Next." Enter your Yahoo! ID. This is your email address without the domain. Enter your password. Check the box to "Remember password." Click "Next" and then "Finish." Select the account you just created.
