Difficulty: Moderately Easy Instructions End Infected Processes Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Click on the "Task Manager." Click on the "Processes" tab. Right-click on "antivir2010.exe" and click "End Process." Delete Infected Registry Entries Click on the "Start" menu. Click on "Run." Type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) into the open box and click "OK." The Registry Editor will open. Locate the following registry entries in the left pane of the Registry Editor and delete them. To delete a registry entry, right-click on it and select "Delete." Click on "Run." Type "cmd" (without the quotation marks) into the open box and click "OK." The Command Prompt will open. Type "regsvr32 /u UpdateCheck.dll" (without the quotation marks) into the Command Prompt and press ENTER. Delete Infected Files Click on the "Start" menu. Click on "Search Files and Folders." Search for and delete the following files. To delete a file, right-click on it and select "Delete."
