As of today (Nov 18, 2009) Mary Joseph Ray of Hinsdale, New Hampshire is the oldest person living in the United States; she is 114 years, 185 days old. (While she lives in the US she is actually a Canadian, her husband was American; he died in 1967. She moved to the USA about 99 years ago.)
