Which is better the nook or the kindle?

    To start, I have to say that the Nook looks really nice, especially in color. That, however, does bring a couple of deficiencies as well, specifically a very long download time, whereas the Kindle downloads almost instantaneously. Not a huge deal, but somewhat inconvenient. I'm sure if the Kindle had a color version, I'd be going through the same problems. So it depends if you care about speed or color.

Honestly a Nook and a Kindle are both very good. "Better" is a really subjective term, meaning subject to the person doing the evaluating. The best way to see which is best for you is to carefully review the features of each device and see which meets your own needs better. Then try them both out in a store to see if you are getting what you think.

The price and build of both the readers are the same, but the expandable memory that Nook has and the ePub compatibility that it enjoys makes it better, in my opinion. !
