Its program provides students the skills and knowledge they need to obtain an entry-level position as a medical assistant. Students will learn how to take vital signs, run laboratory and diagnostic tests, management skills and therapeutic care. Upon graduation, students are eligible to take a 160-hour externship and obtain future job placement. Courses are available at the Phoenix or Mesa campuses or online. Middlesex Community College also offers career placement services. The Commission of Allied Health Programs accredits this medical assistant program.
