how to open a modal window on jqgrid edit?

Would you like to be able to edit your answers on Askville? For a very small window of time only.

• I run a forum, and when I started talking there, I was shocked at how often I'd hit the "submit" button and then think, "Oh wait!" Now, I'm surprised at how much I miss having the ability to edit my thoughts. I'm kind of a messy thinker, I guess, and I keep looking over my answer, thinking, submitting, and then wishing I could add "one more thing" or "Geez, how could I have forgotten that!?" There's something about the submit button that jogs my thoughts. Does this happen to anybody else? Would you like to be able to "fix" your answer, even if it was just for 30 or 60 seconds? Or would it have consequences unforseen by me?

  I can't believe that you can edit your answers... and not even indefinitely. For one thing, links to sites change... or in the case of what just happened to me, I submitted an answer and entered the wrong link to a website that does not even exist. grrrr...
