Grand vitara overheating but putting the heater in the car on seems to make it fine no sign of water and oil mixing and the fan works thermostat water pump and head gasket all changed any ideas?

Answer:
check radiator cap. there is a small release valve in it that may be scaled up and stuck. a wee scrape and hopefully all will be well. make sure that radiator is full at the same time
