Why can't video streaming sites leverage my 100 MBit LAN-speed?

Best free sites for privately sharing streaming video with family members?

  • Hi--I want to share some long family videos online. I want to stream the videos; they're too long to send as email attachments. And I only want to share them with my family, not the entire Internet. I checked AOL's Uncut Video--but it limits videos to 10 minutes, and AOL's privacy policy makes me wonder just how "private" the private sharing option is. Other sites limit the size or length of videos, or lack private sharing. Google Video looks like another option, though again, I have questions about how well the private sharing works. Any suggestions?

Hey. Check out http://www.kinkast.com. They allow you to control who can see it. Email friends and family links to your own private website. Better yet, they won't need to create an account.

As i know, it has private video section on dailymotion, just for registered users. Still, about mainstream video sharing websites, you can go to http://Asharer.com, on the left side of the homepage -- the scrolling picture -- it provide you world's most pop video sharing websites.
