carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight are used in photosynthesis. the product of photosynthesis is oxygen and glucose. then, the oxygen and glucose are used in cellular respiration (what we use) to make carbon dioxide. it is a cycle. we are dependent on both to survive. that is one of the reasons cutting down trees is bad; they give us oxygen.
