Where can I keep a database?

Is there a database template that pulls info from iTunes that would be easier to keep track or/search my library?

• FYI - I'm using Windows XP & Office 2007. Whether with itunes, windows media, or whatever. What I'd really like is for it to pull the artist and title from the mp3 file properties, and add it into a searchable database. It would be great to have an autofill when you start typing in either the title or artist. Then, once you find the song you want, click a 'Play' button and have it open the file in a player. I know what I want, just not the database experience to build it myself.
