Here in Australia you can start with 2 year old kinder, then 3 year old and then 4 year old, these are all usally once or twice a week for around three hours morning or afternoon. Then if you turn five before the end of April you start prep and go through primary school which is prep to year 6. Then you attend high school which is years 7 to 12 all in the same school. the average person is in school from the old of 5 until they are 18. Here in the country you get one year of kindergarten at age 4 and then you start school five days a week from 9am till 3.15pm. then in high school it is from 8.45am till 3.21pm. At school from age 5 until 18
