How do I adjust the clutch in a 91 Honda Accord?

  • A few days ago I dropped my 91 Honda Accord off with the Valet. When they attempted to return the car, they had to drive it up a steep hill and the driver had trouble with the manual transmission. Now when I drive it, if I press the gas too far the engine will rev as if it is in neutral. However, if I go easy on the gas it will gain speed just fine. I think I may just need to adjust the clutch... Can someone help me with this? If that isn't the problem, could you please give me an idea on what it might be?

there could be a few problems with the clutch system one is to adjust the clutch and you do that by going under neath the clutch pedal and you will see a rod that rod has a nut on it loosen up the nut and turn the rod which ever way you need to adjust it. the other thing is that your clutch might be going bad but if you recently had it changed and adjusting it doesn't work than you have a problem with the hydrolic system
