If you opened your inground pool 5 days ago and the water is still green and cloudy after you put in Shock Scale control and algae control how long should you wait before putting in more shock?

Look on your shock package. It will say how long to wait. I believe the brand I use you have to wait 48 hours. Have you cleaned the filter lately? 2 or 3 hrs run time on the filter is not enough.
