Why do I have blisters on my stomach?

I have been diagnosed with blood blisters in my stomach. Has anyone heard of this? I can't find any information about

  • I did have a very bad bacterial infection of the stomach a couple of months ago

    A blood blister "in" your stomach? Not "on" your stomach? Just want to clarify because I have never heard of such a things and I've been in healthcare for 16 years. And how did you get diagnosed? Have you tried asking your doctor for more information? I'm curious myself.

That is all he has told me so far except that my blood work was normal. I have pain in my stomach all he time, but not severe

I was diagnosed as a result of an MRI and blood work. Blood work was normal. I can find nothing on google

Hmmm...that's interesting to me they would call it a blood blister...not a pocket of fluid or something. Seems like they would have to do an endoscopy to actually look at it. I'd chit chat with your doctor.
