How can I improve my singing?

How can I get rid of all of my bad singing habits and sing like a baby again since that is how I can improve my singing voice according to Brett Manning's Singing Success Program?

  You'd have to ask Brett Manning. I have my doubts about some of the claims on his website, including guaranteeing to increase one's range by an entire octave or more. I fail to see how this would be possible, because people have different abilities to start with. He claims to have testimonials from famous people, but it seems to be these people would be receiving private one-on-one instruction rather than ordering a program online. I'm guessing, since babies actually don't SING, is that you should learn how to breathe deeply and naturally, and when you sing, you keep your throat relaxed, and your mouth open and let the sound out without any self conscious effort. (Think of a baby lying on its back screaming its head off for hours--it never gets hoarse, and for a tiny baby, it's LOUD) However, Mr. Manning does espouse different theories on proper singing than many traditional singing instructors, especially those in classical music.
