How will a live sound system act when the speakers have lower total watt load than the power amp IE total load of speaker set is 2200 watts 8 ohms and power amp is rated at 2400 watts 8 ohms?

Answer:
That seems only to look ideal: 8 ohms source and 8 ohms load. There is no power amplifier on the market with an output impedance of 8 ohms. The output impedance will always be less than 0.5 ohms. We don't use matching of impedances, we use bridging. Scroll down to related links and look at "Interconnection of two audio units - Voltage Bridging or impedance bridging - Zout < Zin".
