How can I organize my favorites?

How to Organize Favorites in Internet Explorer Mobile

  • Answer:

Internet Explorer Mobile is a miniature version of the regular Internet Explorer (IE) found on Windows desktop computers. Because the mobile version of IE is designed to run on handheld computers and smart phones, the features are scaled down so that less hard drive space and RAM is needed to run the software. The mobile version of IE has many of the same favorite features and functions however, such as being able to bookmark favorites and organize them in whatever way is best for you. Difficulty: Easy Things You'll Need Windows Mobile 6.0 or higher Instructions Tap the Start menu icon and select the Internet Explorer icon. Tap the "Favorites" menu at the bottom of the screen. Tap the "Add/Delete" tab in Windows Mobile 6, then tap the "New Folder" button. In Windows Mobile 6.5, tap the folder icon. Select the new folder in Windows Mobile 6, then tap the "Add..." button. Fill in the website name and URL. Make sure the "Create in" section shows the appropriate folder for this bookmark. In Windows Mobile, you cannot move an existing favorite to a new folder, but in 6.5 you can. To move a favorite bookmark in Windows Mobile 6.5, select the favorite and then tap the "Edit" icon in the toolbar. Tap the folder list, select the folder to move the favorite to, then tap "OK."
