  pretty hard. most people that want to become surgeons have to go through many years of school, internship, and then actual practice. I've been told that you normally go through over twelve years of college, and at least 2 years of internship. but most surgeons have good starting costs, so going through all of that is worth it, and your helping make a difference in homebody's life
