How to download songs on my phone?

How to Download Songs to an Android Phone

  • Answer:

Android-based smartphones are much more than just cellular phones. These smartphones can browse the Internet, send and receive mail, take high-resolution pictures and be an MP3 audio player. Using a PC, free software and the USB cable that came with your Android phone, you can transfer songs from your PC to your phone. Difficulty: Moderately Easy Instructions Download and install "DoubleTwist." This free software can be downloaded from the Double Twist website (see "Resources"). Once downloaded, double click the setup.exe file to install the program. Launch DoubleTwist. The first time you open DoubleTwist, you will have the option to have the program search your computer and locate all of the songs loaded on your computer. DoubleTwist will automatically include your songs into a playlist that you can edit and manage. Connect your Android phone to your computer. Use the USB cable that came with your smartphone. Once connected, the DoubleTwist program will automatically launch. Select songs or playlists to add to your smartphone. By clicking on each individual song or playlist and then pressing the "Sync" button, DoubleTwist will add the songs to the SD card installed on your Android-based smartphone. Launch your phone's music player to listen to the downloaded songs. Once downloaded to your phone, you will be able to listen to your music using the installed music player on your phone.
