  I am a 39y.o. male and have worn panties for years (with wife's consent). and what type or style would depend on what YOU are looking for. If you want all day comfort or just want girly undies. I myself won't wear panties that can't hold the tackle in. that being said you can't beat the styles that JOCKEY has weather it's hi cut, bikini/string bikini, or thong. you can even get them with some lace on them. many other brands offer very nice panties that fit nicely like Vanity Fair, Maidenform, Warners, Delt Burke, Etc. I would recomend going to a retail discounter like T.J. Maxx or Ross and look. they have a very wide range of brands available and at huge price cuts so if you get home and find something does not fit your not out a lot of money like if you were to goto V.S. as far as sizing goes different brands vary slightly in sizes. for instance I wear jeans in size 32 waist and wear (most) of my panties in size medium (6). hope this helps you.
