Can a car dealership make me sign a new contract?

If the dealership cannot get your car loan app accepted can you use that as leverage to make a better deal before agreeing to sign the new contract?

  Ahhh..... You shouldn't be signing a "NEW" deal at all If they promised you a financing deal and they signed it they are stuck and should have to honor it.   DO this to rip you off, allow you to drive away with the car, then call you back and say your financing didn't go through. THIS IS ILLEGAL! The new deal will have something hidden in it that makes it a much worse deal for you! Generally the new deal will have an additional year of payments or higher payments (once even saw a deal that was Bi weekly rather than monthly at the same payment amount) and so on. Be Very Very careful. (and you should look around for a good dealer like ours that does not pull this kind of underhanded thing) Chrysler 5 star, GM Wheaton Dealers and I can't remember the Ford top dealer designation.
