The best IT certification for entry level.

What is the average salary for an entry level dental assistant with some dental school training and X-ray certification in Arizona?

  • Answer:

Im pretty sure x-ray techs make a lot more than entry level dental assistants. In fact is 100% sure. This isn't an answer but i would recommend staying in the x ray field First of all, being radiology or x-ray certified along with your dental training means you have gotten your dental radiography license. This license only certifies you to take dental radiographs. X-ray technicians go through a completley different training and schooling than dental assistants. I am a dental assistant in MA and the average starting salary is approximetly $13-$18 per hour depending on the office. Dental specialities such as oral surgery or orthodontics may also increase your salary. When you become more experienced and have some time assisting (Ex. 2-8 years) you can expect higher earnings such as $20-$25 per hour, which is very good for a certificate program!! Most of all make sure you like the office your in!!!
