How can David Copperfield fly?

How does David copperfield fly?

  • Answer:

The basic answer is that he is on wires. Honestly it's true! The wires he uses are incredibly thin and very strong. The metal ball that the assistants pass around David while he is flying never actually rotates above him. It is spun backwards in such a way as to appear to, but it doesn't. Also, watch carefully as David enters the perspex box. His assistants slide the lid onto the box between the two wires. There is enough room each side of the lid to allow David to fly inside it. It is still a very cool trick though!
