What does vitamin E cream do and how do you apply it?

Is a mixture of jojoba oil and peppermint oil and vitamin e oil safe to make a cream to apply on a 9 year old child for sun burn?

  Use the highest measured IU's for Vitamin E Oil only. Put it directly on the sunburn without bathing the skin. Put is on often as soon as it soaks in. Usually the next day the burn will begin to heal rapidly and not a lot of peeling. I read this at MD Anderson in the skin cancer center that if you can heal the sunburn without peeling you reduce the damage and it gave this treatment. Use Tylenol for pain. Aloe Vera only works immediately after the burn. Sunburns occur over a period of time so by the time you realize you are sunburned, it has been several hours so it won't work. I used this on my young children and myself and it works every time.
