All of your employers are required to withhold and match the social security amounts that they are required to withhold from your gross wages. When this take place and you file your 2010 income tax return in the year 2011 you will get a credit for the excess social security tax that was withheld and you will have to use the worksheet that is in the 1040 instruction book and the credit amount from the worksheet will be entered on the 1040 tax return page 2 line 69 Excess social security and tier 1 RRTA tax withheld (see page 72) page 73 in the 1040 online instruction book LINE 69 $$$.
