Why is the gba slot removed from the dsi can you get gba games from dsi shop or no one likes to play gba games anymore?

  It's nice of them to support 'legacy' consoles, like how the GBA can play GBC games, the DS could play DS lite games, the Wii can play Gamecube games, etc. But they can't be expected to support previous generation consoles forever. While they should get credit for supporting the older ones for some time later, they're also a business and do need to move their customers onto the latest console. Removing the GBA slot allowed the DSi to contain other upgrades, like the SD slot, WPA wireless encryption, cameras and a small internal hard drive. With these, they can bring out DSi-enhanced or DSi-only products.
