  To understand "physiology of the human body" requires CHEMISTRY. There are issues with toxic substances, overdoses, and medications that chemistry is applicable. The science aspects of Pharmacology requires CHEMISTRY AND ALGEBRA to administer medications safely. Measurement and review of proper doses. MATH SCIENCES...many measurements and conversions from different units of measurements. STATISTICAL SCIENCE is important to understand professional journals and reports. The behavior sciences such as PSYCHOLOGY & SOCIOLOGY are important in dealing with patients and their families. THEOLOGICAL SCIENCES are helpful also as are the LANGUAGE SCIENCES to communicate verbally and with written English is a must. A foreign language or sign language is always useful. There are aspects of PHYSICS & CHEMISTRYutilized in surgery....there is lots of equipment and calculations to do. CRNA's are nurses that give anesthesia...they have to understand many things about gases and flow rates etc.. There are different kinds of lasers and solultions. There are many things that involve electrical measurements and soundwaves. If not to support the testing to understand the reports. COMPUTER SCIENCE is very very significant in data collection about patients (documentation), medication records, education, runing different types of equipment and for research. ECCONOMIC SCIENCES (both macro and micro) for management of budgets and the healthcare dollars. (FINANCIAL SCIENCES). CULTURAL SCIENCE fits under ecconomic and has everything to do with being culturally sensitive to various races, religions/creeds and cultures.
