You CAN run 20"s, but just because you can doesn't mean you should. To prevent rubbing with a 20", you cannot lower the car at all, and your tires will be so low profile you better not hit any potholes. The optimal size is 17", but a lot of folks throw on 18" and low profile tires, which when lowered 1.2"-2" inches can still rub.
