Basically Lasik is the most popular laser eye surgery that can correct or sometimes even cure common refractive errors like Hyperopia (farsightedness) etc. What Lasik does is create a thin flap on the surface of the cornea w/c is then surgically folded to the side to let laser energy reshape the exposed surface of the cornea.
