Do college credits for associate's degree expire?
-
-
Answer:
Typically the general education credits never expire. There are colleges and universities that do have a cut-off for some courses, usually laboratory sciences where they are required by health related programs, or where information related to the course you completed is totally antiquated (such as a computer course taken in 1976). For example, some institutions may have a seven or ten year cut-off for anatomy and physiology. Other than that, credits are typically good forever.
