How do you get nailpolish smell out of carpet?

Answer:
My cousin, her friend and I were having a sleepover new years eve. The friend spilled a little pink nail polish on my cousins new light brown carpet. We looked stuff up on the internet and found nail polish remover worked great. It did not work out for us. We also found vinegar worked it did not either. Then we found out window cleaner worked. We tried it and the stain was gone! It took a while to get out but it was worth the time.
