How to Get MMD Models in Blender
-
-
Answer:
MikuMikuDance, or MMD, is a Japanese application that allows you to create animated 3D movies. MikuMikuDance uses a proprietary format for its 3D models and saves them in the PMD file format. The default installation of Blender doesn't support PMD files. You can import PMD files into Blender by downloading and installing a specific script. Difficulty: Moderate Instructions Download the PMD2Blender script from Atpages.jp. Extract the contents of the ZIP archive into the "/.blender/scripts/" folder that is in the directory where you installed Blender. Open Blender and click "File." Select "Import" and click "PMD." Locate the PMD file on your hard drive and click "Open" to import it into the application.
