How can i make my facebook friend's list private?

How do you make a Facebook friend list with all friends except one group that is already organized in a list?

• I would like to create a list with all friends except my co-workers without having to manually add all friends that aren't co-workers to a list. Is it possible to create a list using other lists as the basis for it (i.e. 'all friends' - 'co-workers')?

  If you need to post something so it will hidden from your co-workers, Facebook provides a way to do so (only) through privacy settings, without the need to create a special list. Select "Custom" from the options pull-down to the left of the "Post" button. Then select "Make it visible" to "Friends", but below it, "Hide it From" your co-workers list. When you post, this setting becomes your default setting for posting privacy. To change it, simply set it to something else and post again.
