What's with the consistent Google search results from asiastarter.com/ and monstermarketplace.com/ with "- from Freecorder Ads"? Is there a way to block these from the search results?

After the answer posted by , I am providing additional information: After investigating, my PC has http://download.cnet.com/Freecorder/3000-2071_4-75286115.html installed, a tool for downloading youtube videos, converting files, etc. I know that programs like this can also hijack the browser (e.g., by secretly changing the homepage, default search engine, redirect links, changing the settings) and this can be reversed manually, but I am not sure how to fix this kind of problem:

Could be ad injection. Did you install the Freecorder app? If you're lucky, deleting it will get rid of the injection.
