What is the scope for a person who has done bachelor of engineering to pursue masters and PhD in Mathematics?

The question ,in particular, is that can an engineer cope up with advance mathematics and pursue masters or PhD successfully , given that he/she has a great interest in mathematics.

yes ofcourse..provided that he/she LOVES mathematics and is not just in love with the idea of being able to persue one's higher studies in mathematics. that's actually all that's needed. and a little grounding in algebra and analysis :)
