How do I add suggestions my keyboard?

How do I get around my Android 4.3.3 phone automatically filtering (not recognizing) words that could have NC-17 connotations while using the swipe touch keyboard?

  • Google did a wonderful thing by introducing a swipe touch keyboard with Android 4+ versions. However, this keyboard goes out of its way to not suggest NC-17 words, which I find particularly annoying especially because some of these can be part of normal conversations without being used as curse words (e.g. sexual, shit, bitch, sex, penis, vagina...). Any suggestions to get around this problem (except having to add all of them manually to the personal dictionary)?

  • Answer:

    Navigate to Settings. Select Language And Input. You might have to scroll down to see it under the Personal section. Tap the Toggles icon next to Google Keyboard Uncheck the box next to Block Offensive Words.
