What is the recruitment procedure for a 2 to 5 year experienced software developer (C# or Java) in most of the service-based companies?

  • Generally in campus recruitment process will have Aptitude then GD, Technical Interview and then HR. What is the process for hiring 2-5 year exp software developers in a service based companies like CTS, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

    Build your reputation at the current firm. Have a good and neatly presented resume. Upload the resume at sites like naukri/monster. If you highlight your key skills properly, recruiters must call you explicitly after seeing it. Make sure that you have a nice profile at linkedin. Recruiters who are serious about getting good candidates often cross check what you have written in resume with what is available in other networking sites. And most importantly, brush up your knowledge on DS and Algo, Java fundas, Multithreading, Concurrent packages and DB if possible as they are the most sought after skills these days. Dont just read through. Write sample programs using an IDE and run it. Try and correct yourself when you are wrong.
