What is the expected lifespan of an external hard disk drive?
-
I am planning to use my USB external hard disks as a full time storage which can be accessed 24x7. One is externally powered and other is not. Both are to be connected to the network through a computer. It is to provide data to a large user base, so will be accessed frequently. Will such a setup decrease its life time?
