As an Indian undergraduate with two years of work experience, should I pursue an MS in the US or an MBA in India?

First put your faith in whatever you do. Nobody can guarantee you a job anywhere no matter which course so lets put that into your head. Second its a entire different field MBA vs MS. My experience is that for an MBA you need 4-5 years of experience. MBA is a course which should not be about mugging rather it is about portraying yourself in those subjects/roles. For that you need some leadership and management experiences only then will you be able to appreciate the course. An MS in US on the other hand gives you knowledge on the latest industry practices. You will have more knowledge on the field you wish to study. More knowledge and hard work you can climb the corporate ladder quicker and get to a managerial position. Then do your MBA and you will catapult yourself ahead by 10 years in your career. And yes there is the issue of money but why are banks for?get a loan. And an MBA from a good school in INDIA also doesn't come cheap. So weigh your options carefully.
