Which one's better, mechanical and mechatronics engineering from LNMIIT or mechanical engineering from Thapar?

You can go for mechanical engineering in Thapar,as one of the mate is saying It has lost it's reputation,still it's a good option keeping in mind the course curriculum and placement stats. MME in LNMIIT,its a new branch in LNMIIT started last year,so there is no sense in talking about it's placements and faculties teaching is not upto the level.

I can tell you that you will miss a healthy and competitive environment if you prefer thapar over lnmiit as Thapar lost it's reputation placements are not good all good faculty left the college the fee is too much So now it’s totally depends on you to take decision which is better, and also talk with at least some students who are studying in the college or passed out,then you will get a better idea

Thapar University Mechanical is a much much better option than LNMIIT . Mechanical department of Thapar University is fantastic with a nice faculty and the best according to me, even better than CSE faculty. Though CSE has better placement but Mechanical has a top notch industrial relationship and core Placement opportunities.Talking about reputation,it has a very nice reputation though fees being high it attracts a much more better crowd last yrs cut off for 4th counseling being 160+.Read my other mechanical related answers.All the best
