What is the difference between "dofollow" links and "follow" links?

There is no supported concept of marking a link as dofollow or follow. A while back Google invented the option to mark a link as nofollow. Its current use is to indicate you don't trust the destination and wish that no PageRank gets passed to it. Typically it is used on user generated links where the website owner does not know how reputable the link is. It is a way for websites to protect themselves from people spamming them for links as it takes away the value of doing so. All other links are normal. So when people say dofollow or follow they are really saying a normal link that has not been marked as nofollow.

Dofollow link passes link juice and they definitely help you much, in order to achieve good page rank. Nofollow links attributes do not allow search engine bots to follow link.That means if the website owner is linking back to you with nofollow attributes, it does not pass on link juice. Only Humans will be able to follow the links.

I agreed with Harshvardhan. There is no difference in Follow and dofollow links. Its one and the same thing. Whereas in SEO there are 2 terms Dofollow and nofollow. Hence, dofollow links are more beneficial for SEO purpose but according to Google a site should hold both dofllow as well as nofollow links. There should be a mix of both the links.

Just saying Difference between dofollow and follow links point wise. Do follow exist for http://blogspot.com and the follow links exist for http://wordpress.com and more like http://tumblr.com . A site giving do follow links for same keywords seldom ranked better than the linked they add as dofollow. follow links are also treated as dofollow.
