Do Asian people think of Tiger Woods as ethnically Asian?

    Yes. The first time I saw Tiger Woods I thought "cool, a Thai golfer!". Then I found out America considers him black, even if the majority of his genetic makeup is Asian (his black father has Asian blood too). Then again I also think Martin Luther King Jr. and Clint Eastwood are pretty Asian looking. My formative years were spent in Asian countries so that's my default.

Being that he's the most successful pro golfer in history, he's "claimed" by everybody. It's amusing to see it happen. I think of him just as much Asian as Black.

Predominantly Black (father) and Asian (mother) ethnic orgins, a little Dutch (moher's ancestry) and possibly some Native American (father's ancestry).   So even a bit Causcasian!
