Is there a cheap roof bike rack?

What is the best way to level a bike roof rack

• As you can see from the image, the standard cross beams on a grand Cherokee are at a slight angle. As such when I attach the bike rack the rack, and the bike are dangerously tilted. Any ideas how to adjust the attachment? I have tried styrofoam, but it hardens too fast and won't hold the shape

A measurement taken from the roof surface to the rack cross member at symmetric locations would prove or deny the condition of "cross beams at a slight angle". Also, the use of a 2' "Smart Level" to compare roof angle to cross member angle could also confirm or deny the condition and whether it is rack, rack mounting or jeep suspension. Unless the parts of the vehicle are damaged, has suspension issues or the rack towers are mismatched, damaged or installed incorrectly...... it's hard to envision another condition that would cause this problem (if it even exists). I have experience with a Jeep GC with a Yakima roof rack.....  the only problem I've experienced is someone hooking the over hanging end of a cross member on a stationary object.   Roof racks in general are pretty much "plug & play, hard to get them to misbehave. Perhaps a few more photos....   a more general shot from the rear, again, symmetric framing a side view and a quartering shot. cheers
