  I think it will only work for time-sensitive, friend-sensitive questions like "where should we go out to dinner in Friday?" or "what should we get X for her birthday?" (where X is explicitly excluded). Or maybe for personal questions like "should I date her?" or "does this dress make me look fat?" or "should I get a new (item which is used socially, like a board game)?". For large classes of questions, I would prefer to ask experts, especially anonymously ("which VCs should I pitch?") or total strangers, anonymously ("I am trapped in a sexless marriage, what should I do?")
